The three effect concentrator has a steam chamber connected to the inner cavity at the top of the first and second effect separators, and the bottom of the steam chamber is connected to the next stage heater through a straight pipe, which is a secondary or tertiary steam pipe. Steam enters the steam chamber from the top of the separator and directly enters the next stage heater. Due to the much larger cross-section of the steam chamber compared to typical steam pipes, the straight pipe leads to the next stage heater without bending, and is close in distance, greatly reducing steam resistance, increasing flow rate, and improving separation efficiency. And because the steam chamber is located inside the separator, it reduces the heat loss of the extracted steam. The drain pipe of the one effect heater is connected to the condenser chamber of the separator, and the condensed water is discharged from below, avoiding steam loss and solving the noise and pollution of the steam trap. The cleaning hand hole at the front end of the lower connecting pipe facilitates the cleaning of residues at the bottom corners of the heater. Each separator has a feed inlet for easy observation and control of the feed flow rate. Three sets of heaters and separators are arranged in a fan-shaped arrangement, which shortens the total length of the equipment and facilitates operation. The multi effect evaporation process is an evaporation operation process that combines multiple evaporators. When performing multi effect evaporation, it is required that the operating pressure and boiling point of the solution of the post effect be lower than those of the pre effect. The introduction of the secondary steam of the pre effect as the heating medium of the post effect, that is, the heating chamber of the post effect becomes the condenser of the secondary steam of the pre effect, and only the steam needs to be consumed for the post effect. Generally, the final or subsequent effects of multi effect evaporation are always operated under vacuum. Since the secondary steam of each effect (except for the final effect) is used as the heating steam for the next effect, the utilization rate of raw steam is improved, that is, the economy. It should be emphasized that the evaporation rate is directly proportional to the heat transfer. Multi effect evaporation does not increase the evaporation rate, but only saves heating steam, at the cost of increased equipment investment. Under the same operating conditions, the production capacity of a multi effect evaporator is not greater than that of a single effect evaporator with a heat transfer area equal to one of the effects. It should be noted that the view that the production capacity of multi effect evaporators is several times that of single effect evaporators is incorrect. According to the method of adding raw materials to the evaporator, it can be divided into three evaporation processes: parallel flow feeding, countercurrent feeding, and parallel flow feeding.
